So you finally got Parachute sheets – yay! But now you don’t know what to do with the fabric pouch they were packaged in. It’s obviously too cute to throw away (and wasteful, ahem), so what are you supposed to use it for? Team Parachute to the rescue! Here are some of our favorite ways to give that little pouch a second life.

Store Bath Linens

You can obviously use your pouch to store your sheets, but why not use it to store something that invariably gets smooshed and unkept? We’re looking at you, towels! Then, next time you need a fresh washcloth, you won’t have to go rooting around stacks of folded (or not folded) bath linens, making a mess!

Safely Pack Your Favorite Shoes

Afraid of scuffing your favorite shoes while traveling? Well, fear not! Here at Parachute, many of us store fancy shoes in our fabric pouches when we pack, and they always arrive to our destination in tip-top shape. Give it a whirl.

Wrap Parachute Gifts

We’ve suggested gift wrapping with our pouches in the past, but after giving it a try, we must warn you: Do not pack non-Parachute gifts in a Parachute pouch. It is misleading and makes birthday girls sad. So wrap our Scented Candle or Merino Travel Kit in the Parachute pouch instead! It’s beautiful – and on brand.

Conceal Embarrassing Everything

We all have a few items in our bathroom that we’d rather not announce to the general public. No matter what mortifying creams you own (or what mortifying ailments they address), you should not have to panic every time a guest dips into your loo. So store your secret salves in a Parachute fabric pouch and stow it under the sink.

Make a Time Capsule

Photo albums are wonderful for cataloguing magical times in life, but why not take it a step further and make a 3D homage? Fill your fabric pouch with all of the memories from an incredible trip: A funny postcard, a room key, an old passport or polaroids. Share it with someone else – or just keep it for yourself – to be transported.

Stash Your License and Registration

Yes, you have to get pulled over once in a while – that’s life – so why not do it in style? Keep your registration and proof of insurance in your fabric pouch, so that you don’t have to search through your entire glove compartment (and Ace of Base CDs) when it goes down.

Organize Gym Essentials

Deodorant, socks, running shoes. Why must we always forget one at the gym? We suggest filling your Parachute pouch with your own most forgettable exercise essentials. May you never go to spinning without a hair tie again.
